Opinions about wine differ greatly as the experience is subjective. You may find it helpful to compare this critical evaluation of the wine with mine as well as your own:
 | Winner of a Gold Medal at the 2009 Concours Mondial de Bruxelles. Rich, ruby red. Playfully coy aromas of rose petals, milk chocolate and plum to start. Once the wine breathes a little, it opens up to reveal attractive notions of ripe raspberry, blackberry and forest floor. Dry, medium bodied, ripe and round with a dark-fruit core brightened by lively acidity. Intriguing brambly note emerges on the palate, along with a touch of anise spice. You’ll be rewarded for decanting this wine, if only for 15-20 minutes. Source: Vintages Wine Panel |
