Tasting note:

Mocha-dark chocolate wraps around dark fleshy fruit. So delicious. Long and dark and deep with savoury, chewy flavours. Smooth and full-bodied with an espresso finish.

Salice Salentino Rosso Selvarossa Riserva won Three Glasses for the third year running. The 2006 version has a spicy, balsamic nose with intense notes of black berry fruit. The palate is rich with good, dense texture, softness and length perked up by vibrant tension and nice balance. Score: 3 Glasses (out of 3) Source: Gambero Rosso Italian Wines
