Loads of dark fruit with cinnamon and nutmeg and fresh mint quality. Round and full on the palate; soft tannins compliment the sweet prune and peppery finish.
Durif, better known to North Americans as Petite Sirah, is blended here with Shiraz. The wine shows a compelling nose of strawberry, raspberry, cherry pie and hickory. Made in a fruit-forward style, it’s very ripe with a nice solid tannin foundation, and nice bright acidity giving posture. Source: Vintages Wine Panel
