Tasting note:

Spain, like Portugal, has reinvented itself, producing spectacular wines that are modern and sleek. This one is pure Placido Domingo: powerful, resonant, deep and memorable. A robust red with delicious notes of black cherries and raspberries, spicy wood, and earth. This wine is a blend of 90% Tempranillo and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon. It was aged six months in French oak barrels. This wine will take you to a hillside cottage where you gulp it in delicious mouthfuls and enjoy tapas as a blazing fire warms your cheeks. Ola! Food matches: Mexican dishes, sausages, meat perogies with fried onions and bacon, bison steak, grilled zucchini.
