Tasting note:

Catena Zapata is one of the best-known Argentina wineries for producing top quality wines. A magnificently rich, concentrated and plush wine without a trace of heaviness. Redolent of fleshy blackberries, cherries, fig and cassis. Excellent structure and balance with an incredibly long, coffee-tinged finish. Food matches: lamb with rosemary or mint, brisket, prime rib.

Opinions about wine differ greatly as the experience is subjective. You may find it helpful to compare this critical evaluation of the wine with mine as well as your own:
Mac rated this wine as 95/100 with the following review:

My first taste of the new-generation Malbecs coming out of Argentina - My God, I had no idea a Malbec could be this rich, this flavorful, this round! This is a Cabernet in disguise.

With all due respect, this is not a food wine -- what goes best with a wine like this is -- another glass of a wine like this. Food would be overwhelmed, and who wants to eat while your wine is dancing on your tongue?
