Note: I publish batches of reviews that I call Good Values Wine Picks. These are from the regular section of the liquor store rather than the Vintages section, and tend to be lower priced and the most widely available of all wines. The last four reviews I did were: March 7, January 4, December 16 and November 20.

Tasting note:

Creamy and full-bodied with gorgeous layers of honeysuckle, green apple, Asian pear and peaches. Luscious with a toasty, buttery finish. It's great to know how lovely an Ontario Chardonnay can be! Food matches: corn dishes, lobster in butter, roast chicken.

Opinions about wine differ greatly as the experience is subjective. You may find it helpful to compare this critical evaluation of the wine with mine as well as your own:
Joe Hache rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Golden yellow with vanilla and green apple on the nose. It was smooth & mouth coating with a lingering finish. There was a very nice balance between the acid and the fruit. It paired very well with our battered and fried appetizers ... hey, we all need a day like this once in awhile!
The first ever Prince Edward County wine aged in barrels from Prince Edward County oak.

This anticipated wine has been crafted from 100% county grown Chardonnay and aged for 10 months in Prince Edward County white oak barrels from The Carriage House Cooperage. The union of these two local resources provide a total terroir experience which is truly unique. Only 100 cases available at the winery or online.

Serve this wine between 55-60 degrees Farenheit or 12-16 degrees Celsius. Tip: If your bottle is at room temperature, put it in ice water for about 30 minutes or in the fridge for about three hours to chill it.
