More Reviews

Opinions about wine differ greatly as the experience is subjective. You may find it helpful to compare this critical evaluation of the wine with mine as well as your own:
Linda reviewed this wine as follows:

Vineyard: A combination of estate owned fruit and purchased. All the fruit comes from the San Martin de Valdeiglesias area which is high altitude vineyards.
Orientation: Elevations from 700-900 meters.
Soil: Granitic Sand
Viticulture: practicing organic and biodynamic. Bush trained vines in very small plots.
Vinification: 25 day maceration with some whole cluster. Fermentation takes place in a combination of stainless steel, concrete and large wood vats. No fining and no filtering.
Aging: Aged in large upright old wooden vats or stainless steel.
Notes: This is a limited release wine. The new vintage tends to release the end of the summer and sell out before the end of Spring.
RATINGS
Publication: IWC
Rating: 90
(all garnacha, aged in large wooden tanks): Vivid red. Fresh strawberry and raspberry aromas are brightened by notes of blood orange and white flowers. Light-bodied but concentrated red berry flavors show good bite and lift, with a mineral quality adding focus. A clean, vibrant wine that finishes with surprising power and very good length. 90 points
