Tasting note:

Vintages Wine Panel: The Wagner family has been incredibly successful creating iconic Cabernet with their Caymus winery. Joseph Wagner is now duplicating that success with Pinot Noir at Belle Glos by crafting wines like this single vineyard version grown by Bill and Susan Weir. The vineyard’s proximity to the coast and rocky soils provide the ideal environment for growing this mineral rich, velvety and intensely flavored wine. Enjoy it any time over the next five years. My note: Vibrant and dry with fantastic aromas of tart cherries that dance across your palate. I love this style of New World Pinot Noir. Some notes of cranberry and rhubarb on the finish. Medium- to full-bodied. Food matches: duck confit, mushroom risotto.
