Tasting note:

Vintages Wine Panel: Very pretty nose of plum preserve, cherries, violets, pepper and a touch of tobacco. Dry and full-flavored with a lush texture, well-integrated tannins, fruit and acidity, and a delicious, medium-long finish. My note: Delivers muscular aromas of zingy black cherry, cedar, cigar box, cranberry, violets, leather and a judicious amount of toasted oak. Full-bodied. Terrific value. Finishes smoky and warm. Food matches: steak au poivre, t duck, barbecued meats, goose, ostrichroas.
