This is a remarkable wine -- please save me some as I intend to get a couple of cases. Matures aromas of leather, cigar box, dried herbs and black plums. It's rare to get a mature wine like this on a release, snap it up but not too much.

Reviews and Ratings

Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Tasted in 2020. For 19 years old, there is still a lot of fruit on this wine, although it is tasting more ripe and raisin than perhaps a younger vintage. Aromas of dried fruit, raisin, tobacco, leather and spice. Flavours are a little more sudued than the nose, but still some dried fruit, smoke, and tobacco notes. Enjoy in the next year.
