Opinions about wine differ greatly as the experience is subjective. You may find it helpful to compare this critical evaluation of the wine with mine as well as your own:
 | There’s a story behind the ‘Ancienne Cour des Chevaliers de Malte’ on André Blanck’s labels. The estate sits on land that once housed the cellars of the Knights of Malta, an ancient military order created in the Middle Ages. Still active today, the order battles disease, poverty and intolerance not with swords but by peaceful means. Fresh with restrained yellow apple, yellow plum and mineral. Quite mouth-coating with a pleasantly oily texture and an elegant build. Very fine mineral edged finish. Source: Vintages Wine Panel |
