Note: I publish batches of reviews that I call Good Values Wine Picks. These are from the regular section of the liquor store rather than the Vintages section, and tend to be lower priced and the most widely available of all wines. The last four reviews I did were: May 22, March 7, January 4 and December 16.

Tasting note:

This is an absolutely fascinating wine, especially coming out of Niagara! Nebbiolo grapes are native to northern Italy, so it's interesting to see the wine they produce in quite a different region. This wine is mouth-watering with stunning aromas of violets, tart cherries and leather. Good grip; maximum pleasure. Food matches: lamb roast spiced with herbs and garlic with reduced wine sauce.

aria is 100% nebbiolo made in the traditional way of barolo with a long barrel ageing. the wine develops very slow but ages long. the bottle has to be uncorked in the morning to be pourred in the evening. very slow wine but......
