Delicate nose showing pear, quince, artichoke, almond, white flowers, and wet stones.
Very mineral on the palate with a slightly oily mouthfeel. Fleshed out with flavors of honeydew, pear, and sesame. Medium bodied, bone dry, and with bright acidity, this wine paired beautifully with miso sablefish and black rice. Oily fish (mackerel, sardines) would really make this godello stand out.
The Bierzo region is in the north of Spain. This wine is unoaked beauty and offers aromas of fresh bread, pear and green apple. Source: Winery
