Opinions about wine differ greatly as the experience is subjective. You may find it helpful to compare this critical evaluation of the wine with mine as well as your own:
 | Andrew Bernardo rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:
Terrific depth and concentration. This wine has tons of black fruit, vanilla, fresh tobacco, and some candied flowers (thinking violets here...) Brilliant Montepulciano. The further south you go, the better 2008 was as a vintage in Italy. 91 Points. (ottawawinejournal.com) |
 | Chewy, rich and dense, this is redolent of ripe blackberry, plum, prune and moist pipe tobacco. There’s also a pretty floral tone that gives the wine an almost feminine personality. It’s tight and firmly structured as well. Editor’s Choice. Score: 90. Full-bodied & Firm. Source: Monica Larner, Wine Enthusiast, June 2012 |
