Tasting note:

Vintages Wine Panel: Founded in 1979, Acacia was a pioneer in the Carneros region, which links the Napa and Sonoma valleys at their southern tips. Just two miles from San Francisco’s San Pablo Bay, Acacia’s vineyards are moderated by cool Pacific breezes which are perfect for growing elegant, benchmark Chardonnay. Experience its layers of youthful citrus, apple and nectarine fruit as well as notes of caramel and toasty hazelnut. My note: An opulently textured Chardonnay with rich, deep layers of ripe pear, apples, butter, vanilla spice and hazelnut. A tangerine-infused finish is a lovely ending to this wine, makes you want more. Food matches: duck a l’orange, fried chicken, grilled scallops, lobster bisque.
