Tasting note:

Vintages Wine Panel: It took fruit sourced from seven of Lodi’s premium vineyards, specifically chosen for their superior quality, to create this sinfully rich Zinfandel. Loaded with berry fruit, pepper, spice and earth, this wine is a model of consistency. Mitigate the severity of your transgression (or implicate others as you will) and share this considerable, and decadent, treasure with friends at your next barbecue. Enjoy over the next 3-5 years. My vote: I adore this wine: it’s vibrant, juicy, generous and fleshy rich with blueberries, purple plums, black raspberries. It reminds me of Tina Fey: lively and fun, always ready for a joke as you sit around the barbecue. It’s simply delicious. Food matches: sauce-covered barbecued meats, cheeses.

Opinions about wine differ greatly as the experience is subjective. You may find it helpful to compare this critical evaluation of the wine with mine as well as your own:
Erin De Santiago rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

The flagship Zinfandel from the Michael David Winery is everything you come to expect from a Lodi Zinfandel. It is a blend of Zinfandel, Petite Syrah, and some Petit Verdot as well. The 7 Deadly Zins is a full-bodied wine with "in your face" berry, pepper, and earthy undertone. The finish is complex with hints of smoke and dark chocolate.
Bella Mcdowell rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Spicy nose with a palate of blackberry, black pepper, and earthy tannins. Ends with a spicy finish. A solid, full-bodied Zin that I have been able to find for around $12-15.
