Tasting note:
VC: Fausto Maculan is one of northern Italy’s finest producers. His wines are appreciated for their elegance and finesse, and he manages to take Pinot Grigio to unexpected heights. This Pinot Grigio is equally at home as a sipper or with every-thing from flavourful fish dishes to pasta in a simple sauce with a few slivers of black truffle or a drizzle of truffle oil. My note: Love it! This rises above all the beige, non-descript Pinot Grigios (been there, drank that). Vibrant notes of white peach, lime, and field daisies. Top me up … in fact, pass me that bottle, would you?
