Opinions about wine differ greatly as the experience is subjective. You may find it helpful to compare this critical evaluation of the wine with mine as well as your own:
Begins with an appealing and brilliant ruby hue. The aromas suggests black cherries and raspberries, influenced by the smoky, toasted hints of French oak (only 15% new). On the palate, there are ripe flavours of spicy cherry. The texture is the classic velvet of good Pinot Noir. Score: 88 Source: John Schreiner, johnschreiner.blogspot.com

This handcrafted, fresh fruit forward Pinot Noir is sourced entirely from our estate vineyards on the slopes of Mt. Boucherie. A warm growing season, one of the hottest years on record in the Okanagan, provided an early pick date helping preserve the grapes natural acidity. Spontaneous and inoculated fermentation methods were used to capture the wine's sense of place. This wine was barrel aged for 10 months in (20% new, 80% 1-3 year old) French oak barrels.
This finely crafted Pinot Noir exhibits enticing perfume aromas that pleasure both the bouquet and palate with roses, strawberries and raspberries mingled with dark plummy notes amongst the red fruits. The palate is under laid by very fine, firm, yet supple tannins with a note of savory complexity that builds through to a persistent finish.
