Tasting note:
This wine won a Silver Medal at the 2009 Argentina Wine Awards. Sixty percent of this wine was aged for eight months in American oak barrels. It offers enticing dark fruit aromas on the nose followed by smoky warmth and peppered black and red currants and raspberries.
Winemaker's Notes
Purple-colored, it has a pleasing perfume of cedar, spice box, espresso, and black currant. Medium- to full-bodied, smooth-textured, and tasty, it has lots of spicy black fruit, good depth, and a medium-length finish. Drink it over the next 4 years. JM
