Rocca Delle Macìe Riserva Chianti 2006
Tasting note:
A lovely, classic chianti that celebrates all that’s best about Tuscan living and the joys of pasta and fresh tomato sauce. Dark berries and smoke with mouth-watering acidity and full-bodied weight. I love it!

Opinions about wine differ greatly as the experience is subjective. You may find it helpful to compare this critical evaluation of the wine with mine as well as your own:
 | Andrew Bernardo rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:
Dried cherry and currants, chocolate, toasty oak, earth, iron, and a dried mushroom note. Briars seem like they will develop over time. A stronger ironish note near the finish. Dense and delicious, great tannin and acidity but not overdone. Vibrant wine, great with any kind of food. Worth buying a case for sure. 90 points. (ottawawinejournal.com) |

Oh Rocca you’re so fine, you’re so fine you blew my mind, hey Rocca. Pasta night, Tuesday night, Charcuterie night. Nuff said. If you need a Chianti in your wine fridge, buy it. If you don’t have a wine fridge, buy one. |
