The Cabernet Franc grapes for this robust red wine are grown in the winery's Rock Pocket Vineyard, North Bench Oliver. Smoky, savoury and meaty with a supple texture. Nicely done!

Cabernet Franc food pairings: pork tenderloin with cherry sauce, arugula pizza, or applewood smoked cheddar..

Reviews and Ratings

A majestic, ethereal grape, many believe Cabernet Franc could be the signature red varietal of the Okanagan Valley. After savouring a glass of this vintage, we are inclined to agree! The North Bench Oliver’s Rock Pocket Vineyard has again delivered a classic Okanagan Cabernet Franc, abundant in juicy berry fruits and robust tannins. A property we have worked with for over a decade, it is ideally suited for Cabernet Franc, which thrives in the rocky soils of the rugged Black Sage Bench desert climate. The fragrant nose has plentiful blueberry, cocoa dust and Bing cherry attributes with a touch of eucalyptus. On the palate we find black cherry with Santa Rosa plum, hints of creamy vanilla, cedar and chewy tannins.
