Lovely white melon, lemongrass and lime aromas in this vibrant, zesty white. Clean, crisp refreshment. The lively acidity of this wine makes it very food friendly, especially for halibut and salmon.

Pinot Gris food pairings: Indian dishes, fresh summer salads, and spot prawns, margherita pizza or marinated beet and hazelnut salad.

Reviews and Ratings

A cooler than average growing season meant that our Pinot Gris came in about 10 days later than normal. A combination of machine harvesting and hand picking was used to get the fruit to the winery. Approximately one-third of the Pinot Gris was aged in stainless steel barrels, with the remaining two-thirds going into stainless steel tanks resulting in an integrated well balanced wine. The stainless steel barrels allow the Pinot Gris to have sur lees contact without any oak influence. In mid-December, after fermentation, the wine in the stainless steel tanks and stainless steel barrels were blended together prior to bottling in March 2011
