Reviews and Ratings

Darlene Myers - CAPS Student rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

As soon as I bought the glass to my nose, I was wowed by the gorgeous aromatics greeting me. It didn't disappoint on the palate either. Medium bodied with lots of flavors of strawberries and spice, with earthy notes. The oak was there, but didn't over-power. This would go with just about anything on your dinner table, chicken, turkey, pork or lamb. Enjoy!
Heather Wall - CS; WSET Advanced rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Cheerful and bright. Pale ruby colour with developing aromas of red cherry, pomegranate, strawberry, plum, raspberry, black pepper, connamon, beets and delicate leather. Pronounced flavours of Cherry Coke, black earth, eucalyptus, cloves, cranberry, sour cherry add to the complexity of this Pinot Noir.
Medium-bodied, grainy tannins.
A red wine to enjoy on it's own or pair with chicken, planked salmon, tuna casserole, pizza. Very food friendly.
Drink now through 2015
Tasted: May 2014
Martha Kelly AIWS - CS rated this wine as 85/100 with the following review:

Pale ruby in colour, with flavours of red currant, pomegranate, beet root, black pepper, vanilla, earthy minerality, and smoke. With light body and tart acidity this wine has a refreshing, warming finish.
Drink now, or keep until 2015.
Pair with Beet salad, duck confit, or goat cheese.
Date tasted: April 2014.
