Round, polished tannins give a velvet mouth-feel. This wine was aged 12 months in French oak. A richly hued wine that finishes with black plum, mocha and vanilla spice and a lick of black pepper. Pair with game dishes and duck comfit.

Malbec food pairings: lamb cutlets, pasta, beef tenderloin.

Reviews and Ratings

Wineboy rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

This wine may have some bottle variation as the one I tasted appears vastly different from other tasters notes..... I saw loads of dried raisin aromas both on the nose and palate. Solid tannins and solid acids were late arrivals.
The estate vineyards are located between 1,110 and 1,300 metres above sea level and benefit from five different microclimates, which imparts both complexity and nuance to this robust Argentine red wine. Bottled without filtration. - Community Wine Reviews
