A balanced wine and a great value. This is mostly cabernet sauvignon with some merlot, syrah and cabernet franc grapes in the blend. Dark fruit aromas are wrapped in toasty oak. Nice symmetry and balance with full-bodied weight. Gets my vote!

Cabernet Sauvignon food pairings: Asian chicken salad, pork tenderloin, asparagus and sugar snap pea soup, hodge-podge, avocado and papaya salad, beef.

Reviews and Ratings

Anna rated this wine as 84/100 with the following review:

Drinkable, light but strong. Date night at depalmas :)
Double Gold winner at the 2012 New York International Wine Competition. Ruby in the glass, mainly Cabernet Sauvignon with a touch of Merlot and Zinfandel, this wine reels you in with tempting, complex aromas – dried herbs, red and black berries, vanilla and elusive smoky notes. Dry, full bodied, it’s well structured with refined tannins, clean acidity and luscious, spiced, dark fruit. Displaying fine balance and depth of flavour. Score: 4 (out of 5).
