Reviews and Ratings

Classic Shiraz nose of blackberry, pepper, woodsmoke and a hint of blueberry. Dry and crisp with fruit flavours building gradually. Soft, yet still very fresh with an elegant, though fruity finish. Source: Vintages Wine Catalogue.
The season provided an excellent starting point, and the
resulting wine is a clear indication as to why the Tyrrell family love the Heathcote
region. The wine has a dense, purple colour and bright hue. It shows a pretty,
lifted aromatic profile of dark berries and some white pepper. The palate shows
intense, sweet black plum flavours which are given a subtle lift from the French
oak, both of which are connected by a fine tannin structure and a bright acidity.
