Reviews and Ratings

Dan Trcka Wine Blogger rated this wine as 84/100 with the following review:

The 2010 Riondo Castelforte Vinea Corvina – 100%, has appealing aromas of dried pomegranate and wood/oak. It is a medium bodied, extra-dry, fruity wine; with good acidity, drying tannins (decant for 15-30 min) and a finish of short to medium length. Drink with food, drink now – 2015. My impression: NOTHING SPECIAL, 84-85 pts. Tasted Dec/13.

A truly expressive nose rich in red fruit, blueberry and black pepper with a lifted violet note. Tasty replays across the board but with a real energy to the bright red fruits on the palate. A lovely, long and flavourful finish. An exceptionally well-priced wine that will be a hit with pasta. Source: Vintages Wine Panel, Feb. 2013
