Green, crisp and clean with not a spot of oak. Light and mouth-watering with lots of acidity for food such as salads and vegetarian dishes. The appellation for this wine is DAC. The terraced vines of Kittmansberg are planted in wind-blown soil that has superb drainage. Crisp finish. Pair with vegetarian dishes.

Gruner Veltliner food pairings: lentil soup, smoked salmon, boiled ham with parsley sauce, vegetable rissoles.

Douglas McMillan rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Clean aromas of crisp yellow apple apricot and a touch of lemon, melon and dried herbs. The taste is mainly apple and lemon,. Bright acidity, a long lemon and apple finish. I paired this with lamb & feta, asparagus, and baby potatoes to great enjoyment. A

This wine is clean and crisp with a notes of green apple and citrus - with much of the same on the palate - there is a lingering crabapple and lemon zest finish.
Heather Wall - CS; WSET Advanced rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

The most planted grape variety in Austria, particularly in Lower Austria and it can produce many styles of wine. This Gruner Veltliner is pale lemon in the glass, racy acidity, dry, and light-bodied. Aromas and flavours of lemon-lime, apple, apricot, sweet spices. The wine is clean and crisp with a long refreshing finish. Pair with vegetable lasagne, vegetarian dishes, smoked salmon with capers. Nice interplay of citrus flavours on the palate with this mouth-watering Austrian white wine. Pair with salads and field greens. - Community Wine Reviews
