Reviews and Ratings

Heather Wall - CS; WSET Advanced rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Dark and inky with aromas and flavours of cherry syrup, plum, cloves, and floral washed over secondary notes of leather, toast, and black earth. Mouth-coating tannins are tamed with fresh acidity and a good warm black cherry finish. This Touriga Nacional blend will be interesting to compare in 2-3 years. Drink now with roasted Prime Rib, grilled steak, roasted lamb shank. Very nice wine from the Dao region of Portugal - known for crafting Portugal's most notable red wines.
Tasted: JANUARY 2015
This robust Portuguese red wine is produced by Jaime de Almeida Barros, Lda. The appellation for this wine is DOC. Pair with a rare steak. - Community Wine Reviews

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
