Natalie's Score: 90/100

Fresh and alive like spring white linens blowing in the breeze. This Italian Pinot Grigio is the essence of lime and lemon zest. Mouth-watering and medium-bodied. Peter Zemmer is one of the most respected producers of Pinot Grigio whose benchmark home is in the northern region of the country in cool-climate vineyards. This winery is tough on their yields and sorting, which results in remarkably flavourful wines. The wine also experiences a slow, temperature-controlled fermentation in stainless steel vats to preserve freshness. Pair with shellfish or seafood

Pinot Grigio food pairings: seafood chowder, cheese, poultry, pizza, pork.

Reviews and Ratings

Andrew Bernardo rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Delightful wine from my ancestral Nance (Sudtirol). The aromas of this wine clearly point to Alsace Gewurz, until you experience the mouthwatering acidity that glides through the midpalate and finish. Aromas and flavours of fresh cut flowers, honey, citrus, Asian pear, and a faint hint of lychee. Drink on its own or with prawn ceviche. 89 Points. (ottawawinejournal.com)
Peter Zemmer is one of the most respected producers of Pinot Grigio whose benchmark home is in the northern region of the country in cool-climate vineyards. And so, this Italian white wine is made from the country's iconic Pinot Grigio grape. Winemaker Peter Zemmer sources the grapes from the best vineyards on Alto Adige region's valley floor as well as its steep slopes. - Community Wine Reviews
