Wake up your senses and palate with this vivacious white wine made from Sauvignon Blanc grapes. Tons of acidity on the palate yet it's not over-bearing if you enjoy this with food like fresh seafood, salads and vegetarian dishes. Flavours of lime and grapefruit.

Sancerre food pairings: pan-fried freshwater fish, goat cheese, garden salad, steamed mussels.

Reviews and Ratings

Jane Staples - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

A refreshing French white wine made from hand-picked Sauvignon Blanc grapes. The nose shows apple and melon, while the palate shows orchard fruit, herbal notes and citrus rind. Dry with mouth-watering acidity and a long citrus finish.
Jon Steeves - Sommelier rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Brilliant pale straw, declared at 13% showing Green melon, pear, lime on the nose and floral notes of white Lilly in addition on the palate. This wine is highly acidic, fragrant, with medium body, medium alcohol. A great food wine, pairs well with herb roasted chicken over field greens or an herb rubbed white fish in citrus sauce. @jonsteeves Rated 90/100 March 2016
Monique Sosa - Accredited Sommelier rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

This Sauvignon Blanc shows pronounced floral and juicy citrus & tropical fruit notes on the nose, but the palate is singing a different tune. Intense lime-lemon-grapefruit zest and grassy flavours linger on and on the palate. This wine is light bodied, easy drinking, bone dry and has high mouthwatering acidity. Enjoy with peppery arugula salads, crab legs, and fish tacos. Tasted Mar 2016.
Alex & Priya - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 86/100 with the following review:

Priya: Smells of caraway and toasted almonds, the flavor lingers long after the wine is gone...salty! I don't know how a wine can taste salty but this one does. I'm unsure as to whether I like it, it's so intense and 'mineral' ! 82 pts

Alex: You betcha it's mineral my lady! Very clean, chalky and saline nose expressing lemon oil, jalapeno, green pepper and fresh cut grass. The palate is pristine and electric, herbaceous, salty (yes, Priya!) and long. Wicked acidity, clarity and depth for the price. 90 pts
This French Sauvignon Blanc is herbal and grassy with lime and grapefruit and lots of acidity. - Community Wine Reviews
