More elegant, with greater finesse than any previous vintage with a judicious use of oak that wraps itself gently around tropical fruit aromas. Lemon acidity through the middle lifts and brightens this luscious wine. It was partially barrel fermented then aged sur lie in 100% new French oak for 4 1/2 months. A lovely creamy texture with a long finish.

Chardonnay food pairings: seafood, creamy pastas, poultry.

Reviews and Ratings

Aged 4 1/2 months sur lie in 100% new French oak. Partially barrel fermented. This lovely golden-hued wine has much character on the nose, banana, mango, cinnamon toast and orange zest leading to a bright, juicy tropical character on the palate with pineapple, papaya, grapefruit and fresh lemon pie. Good French oak integration gives it a lush mouthfeel, with fresh acidity, minerality and an alcohol level that keeps it bright and lively with a very long, citrusy finish. Enjoy with seafood, creamy pastas or poultry.
