Great concentration and depth of flavour. Exotic black plums and dark spices on the finish. Amazing quality for the price. Full-bodied, rich, endless. Plush, fleshy black plums wrap themselves around your tongue and dance with your senses. Pair with a crackling fire on a chilly evening, and a great book. This full-bodied red wine pairs well with grilled meats. OTHER: This wine was awarded 91 points in the 2013 Descorchados guide. (VINTAGES panel, undated.)

Syrah food pairings: barbecued chicken, beef stew, lamb cutlets, seafood and mushroom pasta.

Reviews and Ratings

Martha Kelly AIWS - CS rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Deep and rich this wine has a warming palate of dark berry fruit, chocolate and coffee with an animal complexity. Full-bodied and intense, this wine is a great value.
Pair with grilled red meats in rich red-wine sauce.
Drink now or cellar until 2020.
Date tasted: October 2015.
