A crisp Niagara Chardonnay with acidity suited to fresh seafood. Medium-bodied. Named after the gallery in northern Ontario that houses many works of Canada's most famous artists, The Group of Seven.

A pleasing Chardonnay from Diamond Estates - the folks also responsible for East Dell, 20 Bees, and Dan Aykroyd's wines.
This wine is unoaked and aged for eight months before bottling - it's pretty fresh and fruity. There is a touch of lees to it, but only enough to remind you you're drinking Chardonnay. If you have a friend who isn't very fond of Chard, this might be a slow-pitch without all of the super malolactic flavours that some people find unpleasant.
The colour is very pale yellow, with a pale white rim
Stone fruit and asian pear to the aromas.
The flavours have a buttered and baked apple quality to it. There's some citrus, as well
It isn't particularly complex, but it is ripe and well put together. Pair it with salmon glazed with mustard and maple.

This was surprisingly quite nice! I try not to ever judge a wine by its cover but I’ll admit I was quite drawn to this because of the painting being a Group of Seven admirer. Elegant, unoaked and full of flavours. Stewed apples, poached pears, a hint of tropical fruit and some herbal notes that cling to the end like a well seasoned fillet. Crisp, dry, not too fruity. This is a perfect lunch wine. Pair with a pesto chicken and Gouda cheese wrap. Would also fare well with a light salad with grilled shrimp. 87 points. Tasted Jan 2018
