Reviews and Ratings

Matt Steeves - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

A lovely French Chardonnay. Well balanced, with toasty lees and minerality. Enjoy this with roasted poultry. Tasted April 2015. 91 points. Matt Steeves - www.quercusvino.ca
Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Lovely aromas of lemony citrus, mixed with more subtle notes of vanilla, hazelnut and bread. I found the nose subtle, but the flavours were powerful. I noted citrus, vanilla and hazelnut as well on the palate, along with a clean oak influence to add a bit of warmth and balance the citrus. Long finish. I would enjoy this on its own, but would also be great with chicken or fish.

Philippe Perreault - Sommelier rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Clear golden color with notes of lime, lemon, verbena, sea salt, grilled hazelnut, oak and vanilla.

The wine is crisp, almost creamy and very long on the palate.

Excellent to match firm cheese or St-Jacques shell.

Serve it at 10-12 degrees.

Ready to drink but can be aged 3-5 years.
Olivier de Maisonneuve rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Very enticing nose:cracker jacks and sun-baked stone low wall.Scrumptious mouthfeel. Creamy but not heavy, like a hint of Grand Marnier flavored whipped cream on top of a french toast. Quite delicious!
Astrid Young - Sommelier ISG CAPS rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Powerful nose of vanilla and butterscotch, very enticing! Medium bodied, with good balance of acidity and lingering oak extract and buttered biscuit notes. Long finish echoes malolactic and oaky aspects. May not be for everyone, but I like it. Easy with grilled salmon, seared sesame tuna or gravlax.
Tom Vigeant reviewed this wine as follows:

Pleasant hazelnut, pear, lemon cream and a hint of minerality on the nose. Bright acidity balances creamy mouthfeel and finish. No oxidized notes in this Arbois. Lovely. Seafood pasta, lobster, chicken a la kiev.
