Full-bodied Chilean Cabernet at a great price! Offers seductive tarry blackcurrant and cassis aromas and flavours on the nose and palate. Pair with a juicy, rare steak. Finishes with blackcurrant and cedar brush. Pair with pepperoni pizza.

Cabernet Sauvignon food pairings: juicy, rare steak, barbecued ribs in sauce, hamburger, hard cheese.

Reviews and Ratings

Heather Wall - CS; WSET Advanced rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Staff pick at the Barrhaven LCBO and for good reason. Excellent quality for the low price. Full-bodied with lots of chewy dark fruit, toasted oak, tar, vanilla aromas and flavours. Tannins are integrating with medium+ acidity. A perfect mate for rare meats, Brazilian BBQ, roasted Prime Rib. Enjoy now or the until 2018.
