Nicely balanced white peach and pear with toffeed notes from generous oak aging. Classic California Chardonnay. Ripe tree fruit and caramel notes on the finish. Try it with roast chicken.

Chardonnay food pairings: rich fish, lobster in butter sauce, beef bourguignon, grilled or pulled pork, poultry.

Reviews and Ratings

Darlene Myers - CAPS Student rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

My Mom just visited for 2 weeks, and pretty well all she drinks is Chardonnay. So I've gotten to try a lot of new ones in the past two weeks. This was one we very much enjoyed with beautiful fruit and spice flavors and a hint of oak. We had apple pie for dessert and this wine was perfect with it, and then Mom and I enjoyed the rest of it all by itself. A great fun summer wine.
Jane Staples - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

A bright pale lemon yellow Chardonnay with fresh citrus and apples on the nose, followed by a rich, buttery palate showing vanilla, tropical banana, ripe pineapple ,buttered toast and oak, Full-bodied, long vanilla finish.
Heather Wall - CS; WSET Advanced rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

96 Chardonnay, 2 Viognier, 2 Marsanne make a lovely aromatic wine. Full-bodied Chardonnay wins points for typicity out of California. Medium lemon colour. Medium+ aromas and flavours of apple crisp, pear, peach, lees, butter, yogurt, floral, nutmeg. Palate lends a mild vegetal and raw almond.
Medium + length with a creamy
finish.
Good acidity keeps fruit and oak in check. Would like to taste this wine a couple of years.
Perfect pig roast wine.
