Reviews and Ratings

Heather Wall - CS; WSET Advanced rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

A yummy expression Ontario Pinot Noir from the much heralded 2012 in Niagara. Medium-light bodied. Ruby with purple hue. Aromas of cherry compote, cranberry, dried herbs, earthiness, bakers chocolate. Ditto on the palate with some palate cleansing acidity.
Good turkey/cranberry wine. XD Mild tannins.
Jane Staples - Certified Sommelier reviewed this wine as follows:

Lailey's Head Winemaker hails 2012 as "possibly their most perfect vintage"This was reflected in their Pinot Noir, which shows delicate dark red fruit and spicy aromas, while the palate revealed red cherries and milk chocolate, always a wonderful combo. A sour cherry finish says more, please! A well-balanced, high acicity red that is versatile in its food matches, including duck or turkey.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
