Reviews and Ratings

Pontet-Canet has managed an exceptional wine in 2009 and its second wine, Les Hauts de Pontet-Canet is no less an achievement: soft and round, it is very seductive, with big, rich aromas which cover its typically Paulliacian tannins. Already delicious, it will hold up well. Another opportunity not to be missed. This is the second wine of Château Pontet-Canet, a flanker brand so to speak for the grapes and wine that does not merit to very high standard of its flagship label. Source: Vintages Panel

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
