Crisp and fresh with notes of white grapefruit and lime zest. A touch of smokiness on the finish. Medium-bodied with racy acidity for shellfish.

This Gruner is full throttle, with tons of citrus, white pepper, and sichuan peppercorn. 90 points. (www.ottawawinejournal.com)
Jon Steeves - Sommelier rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Wonderful, medium body. 12.5% ABV. White pepper, stone fruit, pear and a hint of citrus. Pair with your fave stir fry Chinese take-out. Tasted March 2017. 89 points.
Monique Sosa - Accredited Sommelier rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Floral, white pepper and white grapefruit notes dominate the aromas and flavours. A benchmark bone-dry Gruner Veltliner with mouthwatering acidity, and begging to be paired with tuna tartar. Tasted Mar 2017 by @sommsosa | bespoketastings.ca
Jacky Blisson rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Tempting red apple, raw honey and floral notes feature on the nose. The palate is dry and refreshing, with a firm structure, light body and lifted, citrus and orchard fruit nuances on the finish
Melanie Aubert rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Grüner veltliner is one of those varietals that is a nice surprise every time I get reacquainted with it. This one is a high-acidity offering, with the heat of white pepper, the acidity of grapefruit and a floral note. Some unripe pear or peach and green apple in there too.
Valérie Dufour - Accredited Sommelier rated this wine as 86/100 with the following review:

The Gruner Veltliner is the most planted grape in Austria and, because of that, considered the signature grape of that European country. Discreet nose of white grapefruit. Peppery retro. Nice mouth. Easy to drink. Interesting wine at an interesting price. Would pair it with indian food.
Dan Carkner reviewed this wine as follows:

Steely minerality, bruised orchard fruit, and sweet clover lead the charge on the nose with breezy florals joining in. Tart lemon with white grapefruit dominate the palate and confirm the pleasing acidity you can feel in your cheeks. A nice medium light body will help this wine stand up to food. Refreshing for a hot sunny day or a great companion to pates and charcuterie with nuts and firm cheese on the side.
