Reviews and Ratings

Chris Hughes rated this wine as 90/100
Dan Trcka Wine Blogger rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

The 2007 Chivite Gran Feudo Reserva, composed of Tempranillo, Garnacha, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon that was aged in new French Oak barrels for 18 months; has concentrated aromas of cherry, raspberry, vanilla and subtle cedar and pine. It is a medium bodied, extra-dry, integrated wine, with checked acidity, refined tannins and a finish of medium length. Enjoy with food; drink now and for the next 5+ years. My impression: NICE, 89 pts – recommended for its value. Tasted at Churchill Cellars Portfolio tasting May/13.

Nick Onischuk - Accredited Sommelier rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

2007 CHIVITE GRAN FEUDO Reserva is a pleasant and enjoyable medium bodied wine. Full of fruit and floral aromas...pairs well with steak! 89/100 - Tasted September 15, 2013
A deep ruby, with a lighter rim, showing its age. Full ripe soft fruit nose, with a touch of spice and the oak in which the wine has matured. Full bodied, with a good fruit balance. Complex palate with hints of oak. A pleasant, long finish.
