A terrific Barolo! Big, tannic grip but gorgeous flavours flow in and around that dry feeling with juicy dried cherries and leather and smoke. Full-bodied with an incredibly long finish on this robust red wine. Dried tobacco leaves and leather on a satisfying ending.

Barolo food pairings: meat and cheese stuffed porcini mushrooms, prime rib beef, lamb.

Reviews and Ratings

A beautiful, juicy cherry, leather and smoke Barolo! It won a Silver Medal in the 2015 Decanter World Wine Awards as well as Best in Show at the 2013 awards. It's Big, tannic and dry, but ever so rich and robust and flavourful with dried tobacco leaf, leather and spice finish. A true symphony of a wine. - Community Wine Reviews
