This full-bodied red wine is an amazing value for the quality! It offers rich layers of fleshy black plums and blackberries that roll across your palate. Beautifully balanced with incredible concentration of flavour. A long, satisfying finish will still leave you wanting more. Try it with a hearty steak tonight.

Reviews and Ratings

Malcolm Lamont - WSET Adv, CSW rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

A more herbal expression of the Cabernet Sauvignon variety with cedar, mint, and graphite coming out at first. Delving a little bit deeper, you get the cassis, plum, and jammy strawberries.

The later play a large role on the palate, and the Tannins are present as is typical.
A very well balanced expression!

Courtney Flood rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

This wine has a heavy nose and a deep colour. Cherry kirsch, alcohol, smoke, dark chocolate, and leather all come out in aromas. Flavours are brighter and more refreshing than the nose with red cherry and blackberry and some smokey chocolate layers. Finishes with herbal notes of eucalyptus and mint.
Heather Wall - CS; WSET Advanced rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

A great product performer for Errazuriz. And no wonder...good value for the money at $20. Full body. Nice aromas of familiar pencil shavings, dark fruit, a little dustiness and wet earth. No the most attractive sounding aromas. The palate gives a little more prettiness. Cassis, licorice, plum and cherry. A little alcohol and oaky finish. Round tannins. Great house wine. Bring on the Canadian BBQ!
Rachelle O'Connor rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Rich and tannic this is a well balanced wine and an expression of great flavours. Notes of cassis, jam and cedar. Deep in color and a great value. Nice vintage. Well received.
Jane Staples - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

A happy nose of strawberries and blueberries, with a jammy berry palate and hints of milk chocolate, followed by a jammy finish.
Good value per bottle at $18.95.
The grapes were hand picked into 14-kg boxes
and transported to the cellar, where they were carefully inspected, crushed, and deposited into medium-volume stainless steel tanks. Alcoholic fermentation took place at temperatures that varied from 24º to 28ºC with three daily pumpovers. After fermentation was complete, the
new wine remained on its skins, and depending
on the development of the individual lots, total skin contact was 7 to 39 days for optimal extraction of tannins and colour. The final blend was aged for 12 months in French oak barrels, 15% of which were new.
