Domaine du Colombier 2019 Chablis is an Old World Burgundian Chablis fresh with green apple, white florals and flinty mineral aromas on the nose. Bone-dry with bright green apple, white florals, liquid lemon and mineral flavours mouth-watering on the palate. Chill and enjoy with oyster pot pie or a simple meat paté. Since 1887, Domaine du Colombier has been home to the Mothe family, who have been making wine since 1957.

Chablis food pairings: scallops with a sesame ginger dressing, grilled seafood, spinach and pepper jack stuffed chicken, cheese.

Reviews and Ratings

There is not a trace of oak or wood on this Old World Chardonnay. The Burgundian Chablis from Chablis is light with a zingy acidity and citrus layers. Domaine du Colombier has been a family business since 1887. When Guy Mothe took over the property in 1957, the focus was on making Chablis. Now, his three sons Jean Louis, Thierry and Vincent operate 51 hectares of vineyards. - Community Wine Reviews

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
