Juicy and full-bodied with black cherry. I'd like to see a lot more in the glass though for this price. More bark than bite.

Reviews and Ratings

Nick Onischuk - Accredited Sommelier rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

The Dog Point Pinot Noir 2010 is a very easy to drink wine. A very smooth wine that features cherry, spice and earthiness. Tasted December 20,2012 (90/100)
A hushed approach to the wine – gentle red cherry fruit, peppery with twigs and stems, smoke and cola. An attractive entry when the glass whips up perfume. Silky texture through the mouth – a wash of medium weight, understated sweetness of fruit and prickly, piquant oak. It’s a structured and built wine but harmonious and pleasing – very easy to drink but reveals its hand as a classy wine with seamlessness and compaction. Finishes with a moreish, refreshing lick of acidity. Classy. Score: 93. Source: Mike Bennie, winefront.com.au, June 17, 2012
