Heather Wall - CS; WSET Advanced rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

A yummy everyday red and nice expression of cool climate Cabernet Sauvignon. Clear deep ruby colour. Medium intensity aromas of cherry, blackberry, plum, strawberry jam, leather, underbrush, vanilla, and smoke. Not overly complex since it's meant to enjoy today. Nose is repeated on the palate with some grippy tannins. Medium+ alcohol, medium+ body, medium length on the fruity finish.
Enjoyed with my The Works Alfie Burger. Very nice.Winemaker also suggests: mushroom lasagne, pulled pork, vegetable stews.

Deep garnet colour with a bouquet of black currant, dark plum and delicate spice.
Smooth, medium-bodied and fruity.
This slightly off-dry wine delivers plenty of juicy fruit flavours of red and black berries, cherry and plum.
The finish is drier then anticipated with flavours of ripe berries and spice.
