Classic Beaujolais! Jubilant tart red cherries, a little stemmy but no mind, medium-bodied, smooth, mouth-watering and very, very happy. This wine wants roast chicken. Listen to this wine.

Food pairings: beef and mushroom kebabs, veal medallions in a mushroom sauce.

Gold Medal winner at the 2012 Concours de Mâcon. A richly complex nose offering up notes of red raspberry, red cherry, earth, spices, a lovely violet floral component, and a touch of smoke. The palate has excellent depth, acidity and replays. Elegant and structured, with exquisite balance, slightly chewy tannins and a long, drying finish. This will age 3-5 years. Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
