Natalie's Score: 95/100

Apricot golden goodness and peach preserve lovely. This full-bodied Bordeaux dessert wine is a traditional blend of Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon that derives its sweetness from botrytis (noble rot) just as does its most famous cousin Chateau d'Yquem. Pair with fruit-based desserts and those with a touch of caramel.

Food pairings: spice cake, crème brûlée, fruit-based desserts, pastries, fresh field berries in cream.

Creamy, sweet honey, beeswax, pie crust… just lovely! Super crisp, and the long wildflower honey finish is remarkable. Drink now or cellar for upwards of 30+ years. 94 points. Tasted March 2015. Matt Steeves - www.quercusvino.ca
Heather Wall - CS; WSET Advanced rated this wine as 93/100 with the following review:

Out of this world delicious! This Premiere Cru Sauternes is a fine way to end an enjoyable evening. Apricot overtone with honey, toffee, almond, caramel and honeysuckle with refreshing acidity make an enticing elixir. A long almond and apricot finish. Say cheese!
Tasted: April 2015
This premier cru Bordeaux dessert wine (1er Cru Classé) is a concentrated elixir of honeyed peach and almond inflected apricot. Long finish. Pair with crème brûlée. - Community Wine Reviews
