Reviews and Ratings

Greg Hughes rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Good producer, good vintage. Vidal (the offspring of Ugni Blanc and Rayon D'or) produces wonderful icewines rich in spice as well as fruit. Contrary to popular belief, it does age quite well. The colour will deepen to a nice amber, due to oxidation.
This one has a ways to go. Still a subtle honeyed colour and quite glass-coating.
The aromas have loads of raisin, honey, orchard flower, baked apple, hulled wheat, and demerera sugar.
Good acidity and persistence. Flavours of honey, apricot, apple, peach, banana, and clove.
This style is best enjoyed on its own, as dessert, or with some strong stilton. Yumyum. Keep until 2025.
This is a lovely Niagara Icewine with apricot and peach nectar, stonefruit and tropical fruit flavours. It has it all. Pair with a fruit flan. - Community Wine Reviews
