Full-bodied and restrained for the Madiran, usually the home of enamel-peeling reds. Doesn't even taste like 14% alcohol.

Reviews and Ratings

Andrew Bernardo rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

I expect more power and structure from my Madiran. The great wines from Osmin and Peyros come to mind. This wine lacks a sense of place. However, it is a beautiful drinking wine, with loads of black fruit and sweet earth. This wine can be paired with pretty much anything and do well. And for these reasons, I'm 88 on this wine.
